Design 1939 C2 Aura

Back in March we posted an article about the sister to this design, named Bay Bea. This boat utililed the same plans with some changes. 2" of freeboard was added for additional headroom and she displaces less (with less ballast and sail area as a result). She was also built by Palmer Johnson and launched in 1971.

Design 1884 C1 C2 Big Blue and Peloha

Design 1884-C2 - Peloha
Two boats were built to this design. The design is really a near sister of design 1791, Djinn with some modifications. The boats were constructed of steel and built by the G. deVries Lentsch shipyard in Nieuwendam, Holland. They were launched in 1967 and '68 respectively.
